Negotiating Bargains for the Neighborhood

Our neighborhood spends millions of dollars a year on products and services. That's some serious purchasing power. So why is it that we as individual consumers seem to have very little power? We aim to change that. Through this website, we aggregate the purchasing power of our residents to negotiate better deals for ourselves. Corporations do this with purchasing departments and governments with procurement departments. By combining our demand and acting as a group, we can demand better service and better prices as well. Neighbors have already saved thousands in this manner. CLICK HERE to see the current list of Group Buys.

Please continue to help pick the best vendors so we can negotiate volume rates for their services. This is done in the rating part of each section to the left--please fill out the quick surveys and enter reviews in the neighbor service provider review database. Not only do these help us negotiate good values, it also makes the prices being charged by various providers transparent to all.

Aside from saving money, a feedback loop is created where good providers get more business and marginal or dishonest ones are quickly known to the whole community. Be sure to fill out the quick performance evaluation of any vendors you hire.

Community Web, which runs this service for the neighborhood strives to benefit both the residents and the service providers in the community with our system, but we work for the residents. We get a referral fee only when a vendor completes a job satisfactorily. Time and again we are thanked by residents for the time and money we have saved them. We are paid nothing in advance so that we can make objective reviews of providers and change them where required. We return five percent of any revenues generated to the community where they orginated. Supporting Community Web saves you time and money and invests in the community.
