Start at the Mid-County
Regional Center, 2424 Reedie Drive, Wheaton. Surface parking lot is across Reedie Drive; bring change for meters until 6 p.m. on
weekdays.
Walk north on Triangle Lane
to Filipino Home Baking* (11222 Triangle Lane) and Marchones
Italian Deli* (11224 Triangle Lane).
Follow Triangle Lane north,
bearing left on Triangle Lane and turn left on Ennalls
Avenue. Visit Latin American Plaza
Market (2511 Ennalls Ave.), Latin and American Market
(2444-B Ennalls Ave.) and Latino Market (2503 Ennalls Ave.).
Return to Grandview
Avenue. Walk ˝ block north to University
Blvd. Walk ˝ block west (left) on
University Blvd. to Thomas Middle Eastern Market (2650 University Blvd. –
closed on Sundays). Cross to the north
side of University Blvd. at a crosswalk and visit Dessie
Ethiopian Market at 2655 University Blvd.
Return east on University
Blvd. and turn left on Grandview Ave. (north).
˝ block on your right is the Brazilian Market* at 11425 Grandview
Ave.
Walk east to Georgia Avenue,
crossing to the east side. La Salvadorenita Grocery* can be found at 11417 Georgia
Ave. Walk south again, returning to
University Blvd.
Walk east (left) on
University Blvd., stopping at Lucia’s Authentic Italian Deli (2409 University
Blvd.), Shalom Strictly Kosher Meats and Deli (2307 University Blvd.), and Asian
Food Inc.* (2301 University Blvd.).
Cross to the south side of
University Blvd. at Fern Street. Walk
south on Fern St. to Hung Phat Asian Grocery
Store* at 11315 Fern Street.
Continue south on Fern St., turning right on Price Avenue. Turn right (north) on Georgia Ave., visiting
Ethiopia Plus International Market at 11303 Georgia Ave.
Cross Georgia Ave. and walk
south to An-Binh Oriental Grocery* (11216
Georgia Ave.). Continue south on Georgia
Ave., turning right on Reedie Dr. to return to the
Mid-County Regional Center at 2424 Reedie Drive.
